THE WORKERS' PARTY OF IRELAND

Comrade Cathal Goulding Anniversary

Cathal Goulding (1923-1998)

In memory of Comrade Cathal Goulding
January 1923 - December 1998.
Member Ard Comhairle The Workers' Party of Ireland
Chief of Staff IRA (Official).

Remembering one of our finest and most stalwart Comrade Cathal Goulding whose anniversary is at this time.

His contribution to our struggle was immense.
Always optimistic he led the way and never doubted the final victory of the working class.

An internationalist and humanitarian he devoted his life to the emancipation of workers of the world.

A Socialist in the tradition of James Connolly.
A Republican in the tradition of Theobald Wolfe Tone.

He was foremost in the struggle against those who would create factions and those who would foment division and sectarianisms.

We recall his optimisim and his consistent activity in building the Unity of the Irish Working Class.

"The Coming Hope the Future Day
When Wrong to Right Shall Bow
And Hearts that Have the Courage
To make the Future Now".

Ernest Jones - 19th Century Chartist Leader.
