Willie Moore is a well known community activist who has been active in sporting and community
organisations for many years, especially in Ballybeg and surrounding areas. He is Chairman and Child Protection Officer
of St. Saviour's A.F.C. He is a member of Waterford Community Drug Initiative and is a founder member of Clonard Resident's
Association.
Willie came very close to winning a seat in this area in the last local elections. He is keenly aware
of the issues that affect people in this area where he has lived for many years an active member of the local community.
Along with his colleagues Cllr. Davy Walsh and Brian Hearne, Willie has been a tireless campaigner for the
retention of St. Patrick's Hospital and supporter of the much promised Community Nursing Unit at the hospital.
